LifeWire Benefits:
Most positions at LifeWire offer a hybrid work schedule, allowing staff to work from home and from our offices in Bellevue. We provide flexibility for staff while prioritizing support and services to survivors.
LifeWire pays all insurance premiums for staff working .75 FTE (30 hours/week) or more. Benefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision, a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program for all household members, AD&D and Life insurance, a Flexible Healthcare Spending Account, and a free ORCA pass for regional transit in the Puget Sound.
Employees who have worked at least 1000 hours in their first year of employment become eligible to participate in LifeWire’s 401k plan with employer matching up to 2%.
For the first five years of employment, 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week) staff accrue 30 days of paid time off per year, 2 floating holidays of their choosing, and 13 paid holidays.

LifeWire is currently recruiting experienced candidates for four openings across our Services and Shelter Advocate teams. The job description outlines the minimum qualifications required for consideration. At this time, we are seeking candidates who bring specific skills and experience that are essential to strengthening and complementing our existing advocate teams. While all applicants who meet the minimum requirements will be considered, priority consideration will be given to candidates who meet the criteria outlined below.
Legal System Knowledge & Advocacy: Experience supporting survivors with protection orders, court processes, and legal system navigation, including court accompaniment.Please see the full job descriptions below.
Stress Management and Resilience: Experience or training in crisis management and de-escalation techniques in unpredictable or emotionally charged environments.
Bilingual, Spanish needed at this time: Ability to provide direct advocacy services in multiple languages, including English and Spanish; additional languages a plus.
Direct Experience in Gender-Based Violence: Strong preference for candidates with domestic violence and/or sexual violence advocacy experience, including crisis intervention and safety planning.
