LifeWire’s 40th Anniversary Gala
On Saturday, October 8, LifeWire will be hosting our 40th Anniversary Gala & Auction at Meydenbauer Center. Join us! Funds raised at the Gala support the thousands of domestic violence survivors and their children who come to LifeWire seeking help and support each year.
LifeWire is doing amazing work in our community. As a leading domestic violence services agency in Washington State, LifeWire’s work is centered on ensuring that every person who needs help finds safety, stability, and support. Your support will make a profound difference — providing compassionate services, safe housing, and hope—to domestic violence survivors, children, and families when they need it most.
We hope you will celebrate our proud history of strengthening and supporting the lives of our community’s most vulnerable.

Meydenbauer Center is committed to following state and local guidance on safety protocols. The Meydenbauer staff has been closely monitoring information from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Governor Inslee’s office regularly. As of Saturday, March 12, 2022, masks are no longer required in indoor spaces in Washington State. Meydenbauer Center is following all state and local guidance on COVID-19 safety protocols. At this time, there are no restrictions for events in Washington. Event organizers may put additional safety protocols in place for their programs. Meydenbauer Center has taken steps to ensure people can safely gather in our facility. One of the steps we have taken as a venue was to earn the Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ Facility accreditation, providing third-party validation that we have a well-established and maintained cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention program with well-trained professionals and clear documentation of cleaning processes. We have also upgraded our HVAC systems to increase the outside airflow to 50% and upgraded our filters to MERV 13 filters, the highest level of filtration for our system.
