We could not do our important work of eliminating domestic violence without our volunteers. Their energy and compassion make all the difference to survivors of domestic violence and their families.
Direct Services Volunteers work directly with survivors of domestic violence and their families. Our comprehensive 20-hour training program—offered twice a year—prepares volunteers to assist survivors dealing with the traumatic impact of family violence. Volunteer opportunities include answering our 24-Hour Helpline, co-facilitating support groups, and providing court accompaniment.
Support Volunteers provide LifeWire staff with valuable administrative, clerical and fundraising support. Volunteer opportunities include assisting with LifeWire’s fundraising events and assisting with our Holiday Program.
Check out our volunteer page for more information.
LifeWire hosts two fundraising events each year—our World of Hope Gala and Auction in the spring and our Hope Starts Here Breakfast in the fall. Visit our events page for more information.
We rely on our incredible supporters to share our mission and the impact of our work. Interested in getting together friends, family, coworkers and others to learn about our mission, or raise funds for LifeWire? Let us know! Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
